@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ VINTAGE ELECTRONICS ANTIQUE CONSOLE RADIO - Zenith model 9S-367 Manufactured by Zenith Radio Co. Year Manufactured: 1939 HISTORY - In 1939 Zenith models re-introduced Push-Button station selectors. They were featured on their earlier model from 1929 to 1931, but were a mechanically coupled system. This model is electronically tuned which made it more accurate than the earlier ones. In 1939 Zenith also introduced a tone compensation system called the "Radio Organ", which they claimed could result in 64 different combinations of sound enhancement. Condition: Wood needs refinishing, varnish patchy in places. Some plastic parts are missing from the front controls. The numbering and glass are in good shape. I am not an electronics expert, so I do not know if it works. A fantastic antique project, which I did not have time to do myself. I've seen these refinished and redone on the internet selling between $650.00 to $800.00, and the parts are available at other websites. ELE 002 Zenith Console Radio model number 9S-367 (Contact us for shipping, which is dependent on your location & weight.) @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ Other Antique Electronics and Appliances @@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@@ |
