NEWS AND NOTES (this changes from time to time)

BROKEN LINKS:   If you spot any broken links ( buttons that do not work, go nowhere, or give error messages) email and let me know which they were.  I know what some of them are and are working on them as I speak. I'm remodeling all the time (grin) AND, until I get this website totally rennovated, there will be quite a few messed up pages.

RENNOVATION, DEMOLITION, REBUILDING:  I'm changing the look of this place.  I'm renaming pages, shuffling pictures to other pages, and basically making a mess before getting it all neat again.  My family has no patience for these things, and I am soooooo slow at it.  Even so, you probably will be lost in many places around here until I get it back together again.  I want to make this a more interesting place to hang out, and that means I have to hang out here a lot myself!

GRAPHICS ARE DISSAPEARING ON THIS WEBSITE:  Another side effect of my changing things.  However, I am rapidly replacing them, and am nearing the end of my complete rennovation of this website.  Then I can concentrate on adding more items, and refining my underlinks.  Whew!

TAGLINES:  I'm making a new page to hold many of the original Bulletin Board Taglines from the 1980's that I saved for all these years.  I'll post them soon.

I'M ADDING MORE ANTIQUES AND COLLECTIBLES!  Stand back!  I don't know how big this is going to get!  It's getting out of hand!  I can't control it!
(Well, it feels that way, anyways)  Actually, an elephant on roller skates would describe it adequately. (grin)

THE INVISIBLE BLOG:  It's invisible because it doesn't have stuff in it yet. You can go there, but it is a little bare as of Jan 2010.  Like auctions, advertising and similar things, it doesn't pay to get too overloaded too quick or all things go into the handbasket so to speak.  You know, as in:

Where are we going . . .?
. . . and why am I in this handbasket?
                                                                                               (Quoted from an old tagline)

AMERICAN WALNUT TREE WOOD, 100 YEARS OLD   Last year we cut down
our walnut tree.  It was 70 foot tall, 100 years old, and in its prime of nut making.  We are selling it, so if you love beautiful wood in great quantities check out the
Odds and Ends Page which is where the pictures of it are located.
EASE OF USE:  Anyone that cannot see well without glasses, such as myself understands how hard it is to read and navigate those websites that have tiny little typefaces, and no way to enlarge the type to see it better.  If something is hard to read or find on my site, let me know. In fact, I don't wear my glasses when I do modifications to my webpages, so that I'll immediately spot hard to read spots. (grin)  I'ts an ongoing project, and one of the reasons the pages are modified so often.  Send suggestions.
